South East and Central Essex Mind (SECE Mind) are a local charity that brings much needed help and support to those with poor mental health. They offer supported housing, counselling services, children and young people services and mental health training.

Though SECE Mind is part of National Mind charity, they are a quickly growing branch that have to navigate the tricky road of being both a business and a charity.

 

We here at Barrons know that the work SECE Mind do is crucial to our community and are proud to help in the myriads of ways that we do. Barrons covers the essentials of payroll and statutory accounting to the tailored service of management accounting that drills into the business and how they can make the most out of the money they generate.

Another way we help is by giving the governing board a place to meet. In the ever-digital world we live in we understand the importance of in person communication. The simple act of giving SECE Mind our boardroom for their meetings lets them focus on the important work they do.
